AGRIFY has cultivated strong expertise in the production, distribution, and promotion of improved seeds for dryland crops such as sorghum, millets, and pigeon peas crops that are critical to building resilience in semi-arid and drought-prone regions of Tanzania.
What we offer;
- Basic and Certified Seed Production: In partnership with TARI and other breeders, we multiply foundation and certified seeds of drought-tolerant, pest-resistant, and early-maturing varieties.
- QDS Production and Farmer Training: We support farmer groups in producing Quality Declared Seeds (QDS) by providing access to early-generation seeds, TOSCI inspection services, and hands-on capacity building.
- Seed Marketing and Distribution: Through agro-dealers, rural stockists, and direct group sales, we ensure last-mile seed delivery even in remote communities.
- Variety Promotion & Awareness: Our demonstration plots, farmer field days, and radio campaigns encourage adoption of climate-resilient seed varieties
